- Ten stations with approximately 10 interviewers. Interviewers include academics, clinicians, community representatives, and third or fourth year UBC medical students from across British Columbia.
- Delivery
- In person on the UBC Point Grey campus in Vancouver, per the page cited below on 17 September 2026. Earlier cycles ran virtually on Kira Talent; the Northern and Rural panel interview is still virtual.
Three mistakes that cost people here
- Preparing only for a camera. UBC lists the MMI as in person on the Point Grey campus, so the room, the walk between stations and a live interviewer are part of the test again.
- Forgetting that student interviewers are common at UBC. An answer pitched only at a senior clinician reads badly to someone two years ahead of you.
- Ten stations is a stamina problem as much as a content one. Most people are noticeably worse by station eight without circuit practice.
One practice station in this style
